Susan Rockett

I was born and raised in the South …I’m a Georgia girl! My parents were educators and then opened a men’s and women’s clothing store after they married. It’s no wonder that my first two careers were in retail management and secondary education. After a little over a decade in management and another degree, I began my second career in 2005 teaching high school, and most of those years were spent instructing Advanced Placement Literature classes. The years spent in education are invaluable to me and afforded me more time with my own children, Clayton and Grayson. I am proud to have helped to graduate over 2100 young men and women - many with whom I am still in touch. Leaving education was one of the most difficult decisions I have ever had to make, but my current family at Military Realty made the transition seamless. My husband, Edgar, has been in real estate for the past nineteen years. Once he started working for Military Realty, I had the pleasure of befriending both the owner, Banks Van Pelt, and his lovely wife and property manager, Kerri. They both assured me that once I received my state license, I would have a home with the company, and so I do. I have a strong work ethic, compassion, integrity, together with all the attributes that will prove to help me help you.
